KanAm Grund Group optimizes costs for green electricity procurement

News

The KanAm Grund Group has taken a further step towards climate neutrality by cooperating with the energy service provider trawa.

Since 2025, trawa has been supplying around three gigawatt hours of green electricity per year, primarily from direct supply contracts with German photovoltaic and wind power plants.
Thanks to cost-optimized procurement, the KanAm Grund Group can pass on favorable and stable prices for 100 percent green electricity to its tenants.
In addition, trawa's digital energy management system provides us with full transparency regarding consumption and load profiles, enabling us to identify and exploit further potential savings.
All in all, this brings us a big step closer to our emission reduction targets.

Oskar Droszkowski, Associate Director, Head of ESG Strategy at the KanAm Grund Group: "The partnership with trawa enables us to efficiently implement sustainable energy solutions and at the same time stabilize energy costs for our tenants. By purchasing 100 percent green electricity from German renewable energy plants and using innovative energy management technologies, we are actively contributing to reducing emissions. We are delighted to have reached another milestone in our sustainability strategy."
